Our Philosophy

Our Food
Our food and baked goods are made from scratch each day with the freshest ingredients we can find, including locally grown or organic produce when it is available.  We do not use freezers, microwaves, or heat lamps on our food.   We use only antibiotic free chicken and meats and cage free eggs.   All deli meats and cheeses are sliced on-site to ensure freshness.  As a member of Slow Food USA, our restaurant strives to link the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment.  Our menu development is an evolutionary process that will change with the chef’s moods, the season, and your requests.

Our Community
We donate all unsold baked goods to local charities (Community Welcome House, Four Corner Church, Upscale Resale Shppe Newnan) on a daily basis.   We are proud to be part of the historic central business district in downtown Newnan, Georgia, the "City of Homes".

Our Environment
We strive to be as green and eco-friendly as possible.   We use only recyclable and/or biodegradable plastics and paper products and we recycle all of our aluminum, plastic, and cardboard disposable items.

Our Bread
Moji’s proudly serves Masada Bakery breads.  Masada breads are certified organic, zero trans fat, Kosher style breads that are baked in Norcross, Georgia and delivered to us fresh three times per week.

Our Coffee
We serve Baby’s coffee because it’s the best coffee we’ve ever tasted.  It is freshly roasted when ordered and drop shipped overnight.  Baby’s is the Southernmost coffee roaster in America, headquartered in Key West, Florida.

Say hello to Fortune Kitty found behind the bakery counter.  It was given to Lela by Pam's brother Billy to bring good luck for Moji's opening.

Excerpt from luckymojo.com: At the entrances to their shops and restaurants, the Japanese place clay, papier-mache, or wooden figures of the seated cat (also known as the Beckoning Cat) with one paw raised to the side of its face. Such cats are believed to promote prosperity, their beckoning paws inviting passers-by to come in and do business.
